I had a major problem with one of my computers at my office. It was the computer that I needed to work, because it was the one that I would do my patient notes on.
It all happened the morning after a major ice storm in our area. I started taking care of my awesome patients, and every time I tried to do a function on my computer, well, nothing happened. The computer was so slow that I think it was moving backwards. So needless to say, I was super frustrated.
We contacted the IT department at our software company, thinking that it had to be a programming issue. Well, after their full assessment, they concluded that it was either the computer or network. Not something you want to hear when you are looking for a quick result.
So, I kept struggling with my computer for the next couple of days, dreading the idea of buying a new computer or running new cables under the floor…again, not an easy job either.
Then I had a thought as I was working in the office: what if I changed the cable from the computer into a different junction box. To do this, I needed a new cable for the computer. Well, when I connected this new ethernet cable…something miraculous happened. My computer started working, but not only that, it was working faster than it ever had. Amazing. It was the cable that was the problem all this time…so simple.
The funny thing is this is what we see at our office all the time. A patient will come into our office after seeing many different medical practitioners, and spending thousands of dollars with minimal changes., and lots of fear that their computer, I mean, their body is running so poorly…. that it’s hard for them to believe that their problem is simply, well, a cable issue. They are not getting the proper signals from their brain to their body. Funny that I did not realize this years ago with my own office computer.
So, if you are not feeling great, or you just feel like your body needs a “reboot” or hard drive repair, why not first go to a chiropractor and check to see if your power is just not corrected properly.
